Strangers

You're nothing more than a mere memory now

A memory that I want nothing more than to erase

I've already gotten over you

I've got no time to be looking back, I've passed that

At times I wonder what would it be like if our paths had not crossed

And I think it would be better off that way

Saved from all the pain and grief

Something that we can all do a little less with

Yes, it had hurt for the first time and a few more after

But somewhere along the lines, it changed

It didn't affect me like it used to, like before

And that's when I realized that I didn't care anymore

All that's left now is the numb feeling

But that is going to change too

Because I'm slowly erasing you from my memory

Like you never existed in the first place

I wish we had never met, hearts were never broken, tears were never cried

p/s: Solely based on my interpretation of the song
We Are Now Strangers by Kim Kyung Rok
That means no lyrics involved, I was too lazy to find the translated lyrics anyway
I just went along with what the song was expressing
I don't know what he was singing, I didn't care
It's just the melody and his expressive sad voice that drove me to write this piece
It's also laden with a personal take on a part of my life
